Suspense over the new Duster, how will the design be revealed in the teaser? It will be launched on this day

Renault Duster, which has been India’s favorite SUV for the past few years, is making a comeback once again. Renault will launch the SUV in a completely new avatar on January 26. So far, there have been many speculations regarding the looks and design of the new Duster. However, the company has released a new teaser of the SUV. The design of the SUV can be seen to a great extent in the new teaser.

Its teaser video shows the car getting LED taillights and the new Renault logo placed at the centre. The front also has daytime running lights. The SUV is presented in a memorable style in the video. It starts with children playing with toy dusters. After this, scenes of driving an old Duster model in mountains, rivers and waterfalls are shown. The video ends with a celebration by the Gangs of Duster community as a mix of nostalgia and adventure paves the way for Duster’s return in 2026.

A completely new design

The new Duster is built on the CMF-B architecture and has a completely new design. The front will look bolder than before. It will get a new grille, Y-shaped LED headlights and DRLs, new fog lamps, sporty bumpers and larger air dams. Apart from this, elements like Y-shaped LED taillights, 18-inch alloy wheels, large side cladding, raised wheel arches and roof rails will make it stand out.

Premium features

The cabin and features of the 2026 Duster coming to India will be similar to the global model. It will be more premium and feature packed than the previous generation. It will now have features like 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment, 7-inch color driver display, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, wireless charging pad, panoramic sunroof, Arkamys Classic 6-speaker sound system, ambient lighting and Level 2 ADAS (Safety and Drive Features).

Engine options

The new Duster in India is available with two petrol engines, the 1.3L Turbo and the 1.2L Mild Hybrid. Later, a stronger hybrid variant may also be launched. The transmission can have both manual and automatic options. The 4X4 system can only be had in the top variant. After launch, the new Duster will compete with vehicles like Hyundai Creta, Tata Sierra, Kia Seltos, Maruti Victoris and Grand Vitara.
