5 new electric SUVs will be launched in 2026, from Sierra to Punch

The year 2026 is just a few days away and car manufacturers are gearing up to launch several new electric vehicle (EV) models in the country. These include the recently launched Sierra SUV and the electric variant of Maruti Suzuki’s first Battery Electric Vehicle (BEV) E-Vitara. Today we are going to tell you about the electric car that will be launched in 2026.

Tata Sierra EV

Tata Sierra EV received over 70,000 bookings in the first 24 hours. It remains to be seen whether Tata Motors will get a similar response for the all-electric version of the Sierra, which is expected to be launched in the second half of 2026.

Maruti Suzuki and Vitara

The much-awaited E Vitara electric SUV is expected to launch in India on January 2, 2026. It comes with a claimed range of 543 km and several segment-leading features like Level 2 ADAS safety features and a 5-star BNCAP safety rating.

Tata Panch E.V

The Punch EV is expected to get a facelift in 2026. It is the first electric SUV in its range and is currently available with multiple battery packs and Tata’s Generation 2 EV platform. Motors is expected to give the Panch EV a mid-life update in terms of design, features, etc. and this will come after the launch of the Sierra EV.

Winfast Limo Green

Based on several pictures going viral on social media, Vietnamese electric vehicle manufacturer Winfast is expected to launch its third electric vehicle model in India by February 2026. The Winfast Limo will enter the green electric MPV segment and take on existing rivals like the Kia Clavis EV and the BYD EMAX 7.

Kia Syros EV

According to reports, Kia India is going to launch an all-electric version of its Syros family car in the Indian market next year. Syros is creating a new dimension in the premium family car segment. In its electric avatar, it is likely to have futuristic styling, several high-tech features and the option of multiple battery packs. The Syros EV is expected to arrive in India in the second half of 2026.
