Indian electric two-wheeler company Ather Energy has announced a price hike for all its electric scooters. These new prices will be effective from January 1, 2026 and will increase the prices by a maximum of ₹3,000. The company cited several reasons behind the price hike, including rising raw material prices, fluctuating foreign exchange rates and disruptions in global supply chains.
Ritz and 450 series electric scooters
Ather Energy sells Ritz and 450 series electric scooters in India. The new price hike will be applicable on all models. This means if you are planning to buy a scooter then it will be beneficial to buy before January. The company says this move will help them maintain production costs and quality. Ather scooters are popular among customers for their performance, battery technology and reliable service.
