Superman: one of the greatest superheroes of all time. He is remembered for his super powers, his kind domineer and for his alter ego Clark Kent. But the biggest thing we all know about is his glasses or his “disguise” as he calls it. How can a pair of glasses be a disguise for anyone? When you see a mate of yours with new glasses on, you don’t go “WHO ARE YOU!?!”. Instead you go “oh….you are wearing glasses”. How can one person fool the entire world with, quite literally, GLASS over his face? This has been mocked to death over many formats, even DC the creators of Superman. In fact there was a entire comic to explain how the glasses can work. To boil it down to its simplest terms, Superman is the world’s greatest hypnotist…rubbish, I say. That is the dumbest excuse for the glasses I have ever heard. In a summary, let me explain how the glasses work; lazy writing and everyone in the DC universe are idiots.
